OUR PROGRAMS

New Morning Foundation is working to promote adolescents' wellness and to reduce teen pregnancy in South Carolina through long-range and annual grants.

Long-Range Grants:
The Foundation makes its major grants to support multifaceted, school- and community-based initiatives, primarily in Richland and Charleston counties. Programs must support and promote abstinence and the postponement of sexual activity, as well as include counseling regarding contraception for those adolescents who are sexually active. A typical award is between $200,000 and $250,000 per year for up to five years.

Annual Grants:
The Foundation also makes one-year grants, unrestricted and restricted, to organizations whose programs are harmonious with the Foundation's mission. A typical award is between $1,000 and $50,000.
